Allergy Shot Frequency

When building up on allergy shots, you need to come in at least once a week.
When on your maintenance dose, you need to come in every 14-28 days.
When renewing your maintenance vial, you will need to move back several “steps” and come back in at least once a week until you are back on your maintenance dose. Then you may resume coming in every 14-28 days

Allergy immunotherapy, also called “allergy shots,” is prescribed to modify the immune system’s response to allergens with the goal of minimizing and/or preventing an allergen initiated inflammatory response.
Allergy Drops & Tablets

Allergy drops, and tablets are two forms of sublingual immunotherapy that are injection-free alternatives to allergy shots. Both contain environmental allergen such as pollen, dust mites, molds, cat, or dog.
